- 形容词作定语修饰 some,any,every,no和body,thing,one 等构成的复合不定代词时,需后置 (eg:There is nobody absent today. 今天没有人缺席。/ want to tell you something important. 我想告你一些重要的事情)
- 形容词所修饰的词前面有only,best,all等限定性较强的定语时 (eg:Thisis the best book available.这是最好的一本书 / That is the only solution possible.那是唯一可行的解决办法)
- 形容词排序：“美小圆旧黄，法国木书房”
- 符合形容词：数次+名词（单数）eg.three-hour
- 表示"终极"意义或绝对概念的形容词,如absolute,blind,dead, excellent, entire, living, full,perfect, round等。没有比较级/最高级。
- A+倍数+as+形容词原级+as+B / A+倍数-1+形容词比较级+than+B (eg.一只大象是猪的10倍大:An elephant is 10 times as big as a pig./An elephant is 9 times bigger than a pig.)
- 可修饰最高级词：by far, far,much,mostly,almost.
- Less 修饰不可数名词；Fewer 修饰可数名词。
